Pennsylvania dutch ice cream pudding recipe

60 Ritz crackers, crushed
1/2 c. melted margarine
2 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
1 qt. plus 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Mix crushed crackers and margarine together. Save out 1/2 cup. Press remaining crumbs into bottom of 9x13

inch pan. Mix pudding and milk together with hand mixer, add softened ice cream. Spread over crumb mixture

and cover with Cool Whip. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
